AC & DC Distribution Panel Manufacturer — ACDB and DCDB
AC distribution boards (ACDB) and DC distribution boards (DCDB) split incoming supply into protected outgoing circuits for solar plants, UPS and battery banks, telecom sites and control supplies. PPT builds them with DC-rated switchgear — not AC devices pressed into DC duty — correct polarity marking, surge protection and clear circuit identification.
Key features
- DC-rated MCB, MCCB and fuse selection for true DC breaking
- Type 1/Type 2 surge protection on AC and DC sides
- String monitoring and fuse protection for solar DCDB
- 24V / 48V / 110V / 220V DC control distribution
- Busbar and cable termination sized for continuous duty
- IP54 / IP65 enclosures for outdoor installation

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between ACDB and DCDB?
A DCDB distributes and protects DC circuits — solar strings, battery banks, control supplies — using DC-rated devices. An ACDB does the same on the AC side, typically after an inverter or transformer.
Can normal AC MCBs be used in a DC panel?
No. DC has no zero crossing, so breaking capacity differs. DC circuits need devices rated and marked for the DC voltage and polarity in use.
Do you supply outdoor-rated distribution panels?
Yes, IP65 enclosures with canopy, gland plates and UV-stable paint for rooftop and ground-mount installations.
